Fundraising Committee

October 12th, 2009

The Fundraising Committee works with the UNC Office of Development to promote and solicit class members for the senior campaign, which is our chance to give back to Carolina. We have been fortunate to have studied at one of the top universities in the nation, and we now have the opportunity to make the same impact on the future of Carolina through our senior campaign and future support of UNC. In the 2010 Senior Campaign for Carolina, you’ll have a chance to beat the participation rate of the 2009 Class and donate to our endorsed fund!

The Class of 2010 Endorsed Fund

We have chosen the University Libraries as this year’s endorsed fund. The University Libraries are currently experiencing a severe budget shortfall because of cuts in state funding. This year’s senior class has the opportunity to step in and help! Everyone has studied, slept, and socialized in at least one of UNC’s libraries–now return the favor! You can make a donation by visiting the Office of Development website or by filling out a giving slip available at senior events. Any gift counts toward our participation rates, but we encourage a gift of $20.10. You can donate to the endorsed fund or to any other fund on campus–there are thousands to choose from! Our goal this year is to have more than 42% of seniors particpate and beat the Class of 2009.
