Events CSFL always tries to keep active so that we'll have a persistent and perceptible presence on the UNC campus. We'll try to keep this section up to date with what's coming up on the horizon. Marion Syverson from Feminists for Life Marion Syverson from Feminists for Life is speaking on April 11, 2006 at 7pm (location TBA.) She'll be sharing her personal story of domestic violence, rape, drug abuse, and abortion as well as presenting the feminist case against abortion. March for Life '07 We've gone three times now, and next January we'll be heading up to Washington once more (by bicycle if need be) to participate in the annual March for Life. The march, which brings tens of thousands of pro-life people (possibly hundreds of thousands) to Washington D.C., is held yearly on the anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision. Drop us an email if you're interested in coming along. Perpetual Choice USA Debate Challenge Unlike some other campus organization, we acknowledge the existence of our opposition and have consistently offered them an open challenge to set up an organized debate between our two groups. Clandestinely attempting to undermine the other side's efforts might be a tempting way to deal with those who do not agree with you, but we think an open discourse to inform Joe Carolina Student will be much more beneficial for all involved. While we understand and sympathize with the fact that their logic is beyond any defense, we still feel it for the better good that we insist on setting up such an event. Next time you see a Choice USA table in the pit, remind them to join us in a debate.
