A day in the life of the Old Well
Tradition says a sip from the Old Well on the first day of classes could bring good luck in the coming year.
The Old Well is one of UNC’s most treasured landmarks, the visual symbol of the University and a center of campus life.
Carolina welcomed a new school year on August 23, and with it, a new group of visitors to the Old Well.
Take a look at the thousands of students who dropped by for photos, a sip from the fountain and more on the first day of class.
