Surane is a journalism major with a concentration in Business Journalism, but is also pursuing a minor in English Literature.
While most people are climbing into bed at the end of a long day, Jenny Surane is still going strong. As the Editor-in-Chief of The Daily Tar Heel and a senior business journalism major, Surane spends her day working with words, and many times that work doesn’t wrap up until after 2 a.m. Learn more about how Surane keeps the printing presses and her academic life on schedule.
