Day in the life: Marching Tar Heel

If there is free time in senior Betsy Unger's day, it's first thing in the morning; once she boards the bus to campus she often doesn't return home for another 10 hours.

Whether she’s helping direct the Marching Tar Heels or samples in a research lab, senior Betsy Unger keeps her life as a Carolina student up tempo. Music is her passion, but balancing hours of rehearsals with earning her degree and gaining experience in her field of psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences requires a much different form of conducting. Learn more about Unger and the things that allow her to manage the long days and non-stop schedules.

Unger is just one Carolina student doing incredible things.

Over the next few weeks we will be profiling a day in the life of multiple Carolina students.
