Collaborative, practical, industry-focused research is yielding smart products engineered to deliver drugs to precise points in the human body – holding promise for treating diseases, like brain cancer, that have been historically very hard to address.
The pharmacoengineering research work is funded by UNC-GA using state funds appropriated for the UNC System’s Research Opportunities Initiative (ROI).
