The 2010 Carolina Summer Reading Program Book Selection Committee of students, staff, and faculty soon begins the process of choosing a book for this coming summer. We invite all members of the UNC-Chapel Hill community to suggest titles for our consideration. To begin, we suggest asking yourself, "What will get the incoming undergraduate students reading and thinking next summer?" To make your suggestion, please submit your information in the online form. Full consideration will be given to all book recommendations received by October 7.

The Carolina Summer Reading Program is designed to provide a common experience for incoming students, to enhance participation in the intellectual life of the campus through stimulating discussion and critical thinking around a current topic, and to encourage a sense of community between students, faculty and staff.
