Kenji Yoshino is the Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law at the NYU School of Law. He specializes in constitutional law, antidiscrimination law, and law and literature. He holds degrees from Harvard (B.A. 1991), Oxford (M.Sc. 1993), where he was a Rhodes Scholar; and Yale Law School (J.D. 1996). Prior to moving to NYU, he was the inaugural Guido Calabresi Professor of Law and Deputy Dean of Intellectual Life at Yale Law School, where he taught from 1998 to 2008. He has published in a variety of professional journals, including the Columbia Law Review, Stanford Law Review, and Yale Law Journal. He also written for popular audiences in such venues as The New York Times, Slate, and The Washington Post. His first book, Covering: The Hidden Assault on Our Civil Rights was published in 2006 by Random House. He lives in New York. |
