Heather Lynn Altman (EARTH CLAN)

Heather was born on February 27, 1976 to a large extended family who provided support for her.  She was a HS valedictorian and has a younger sister named Felicia Ann Altman.  Heather is Lumbee.

Trina Nadine Appleton (FIRE CLAN)

Trina was born on May 7, 1972 in Cherokee, NC.  Trina has a younger sister named Loretta Faye who has been known to call Trina "ma ma" because they are so close.  Trina is proud of the fact that she was the first in her family to graduate from college.  Trina is Cherokee.

Carrie June Beck (WATER CLAN)

Carrie was born on May 24, 1968 in Anchorage, Alaska to two overjoyed Aleutian parents.  Her parents later brought home another daughter named Heather Ann.  Carrie is married to Christopher Michael Beck and has a dog-child named Jazz.

Sherrill Kathleen Chavis (WATER CLAN)

Sherrill gets her middle name from her grandmother and has 5 sisters, all with their names starting with sh-.  She is from Robeson County and is Lumbee.

Adrian Davis (EARTH CLAN)

Adrian takes "lessons from the field".  She like to compare the lessons in the field to situations she runs into in life.

Crystal Lee Fedor (FIRE CLAN)

Crystal was born on November 13, 1974 to a Lumbee mother and grew up with a brother, Joey, and two sisters-Liseanne and Melody, who is also a sister in the sorority.

Christina Hardin (AIR CLAN)

Christina was born on August 17, 1973.  She was a HS salutatorian and after 2 years at Peace College, transferred to UNC.  She is proud of her Lumbee heritage and attended medical school starting in Fall 1995 at UNC.

Deresa Hunt (EARTH CLAN)

Deresa takes pride in being a "daddy's girl", saying that he has been her mentor and role model.  She wants to help her fellow Native people.

Pamela Gail Johnson (EARTH CLAN)

Pamela was born on June 17, 1973- father's day- to parents who were expecting a boy.  She graduated with a Biology degree.

Iris Lynn Locklear (FIRE CLAN)

Iris' Tuscaroran name is Wahawnee, which means "a path".  She was born on November 19, 1971.  She is proud of her family, her heritage, and the path that she has taken in life.  She hopes to see our Native people and our cultures resurrected.

Tonya Locklear (AIR CLAN)

Tonya was born on November 29, 1972 in Laurenburg, NC.  She is from Red Springs and attends Galilee Baptist Church.

Ella Olehanna Lowery-Lynch (AIR CLAN)

Olehanna means "city on top of the hill" and she says that she has yet to find the significance in this.  She was born on February 22, 1976.  She loves Disney movies and is a devout Christian.

Roberta Oxendine (WATER CLAN)

Roberta grew up in Pembroke, NC with her mother.  She was born on January 8, 1976 in Red Springs, NC.  She collects turtle items.
 

Chenoa Germaine Richardson (FIRE CLAN)

Chenoa was born on September 24, 1975 to two Haliwa-Saponi parents.  Her Indian name is White Dove and she became Miss Haliwa-Saponi.  She has a sister named Amanda Kay.

Elizabeth Ann Seegers (WATER CLAN)

Elizabeth was born on February 20, 1974, on her father's birthday.  She is Cherokee and grew up in Jacksonville, 15 minutes from the NC coast.
