Cheryl Lynn Jones (WATER CLAN)
Cheryl was born on August 7, 1979 and was named after Cheryl Teigs.  She grew up with her mother, grandmother, and aunt in Pembroke, NC.  She is Lumbee and attends Mt. Airy Baptist Church.  Cheryl is happy that she was able to fulfill her fourth grade dream of coming to UNC.
 
Amy Elizabeth Locklear (FIRE CLAN)
Amy was born on September 19, 1978 to Lumbee parents.  Her siblings both attended Princeton and hopes to become a strong Native American woman.
 
Brooke Coker Locklear (AIR CLAN)
Brooke was born on May 21, 1979.  Her middle name is her maternal grandmother's maiden name.  She has a brother, Marshall, who's middle name is her paternal grandfather's name.  She excelled in tennis and bible study.
