How to Stop Sexual Assault

  • Work to reform your own attitudes and feelings by recognizing rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and child sexual abuse as violent crimes.
  • Learn the facts about sexual assault and pass the information along to others.
  • Work for reform in your community's attitudes by speaking up when you hear others make jokes about sexual violence.

REMEMBER: Until society rejects the myths and misconceptions about sexual violence and begins treating sexual violence as a serious problem, there will never be a real solution to the crimes of sexual violence.
