EROT auditions

September 9 and 10

The demand is high, and we are scrounging to find audition times for everyone. Regardless, we want to see your face! If you e-mail Heavenly Johnson (heavenlj@email.unc.edu) BEFORE NOON on September 7, we will try our best to accomodate you.

The audition signup sheets will be available at the Union desk, which is on the bottom floor of the building. Time slots are already filling up, so we will be looking to open up more available times, which will also be in the folder. Keep checking back because people may drop the slot that they are signed up for. In the case that you come and all time slots are full, please e-mail Heavenly Johnson, and we will try to accommodate you as long as your e-mail is sent before noon on Sunday.

Bring a copy of a memorized piece to perform (no longer than 3 minutes).

We will give you a short piece to read on spot - you will have time to review the piece before presenting it.

You and a partner will do a random improv scene.

***If you don't know whether you want to perform or write, you are encouraged to do the audition, performing a piece that you wrote so that we are able to see both your writing and performance skills.

If you only want to write, you need to complete the E-write application. They will be in the Union with the audition signup sheets, or you can download them from this website. Deadline info is at the bottom of the application. Best of luck to all of you!
