EDUCATION: we are undertaking creating a lesson for students in North Carolina school on an international environmental issue.  Then they are going to go around and teach the youth about an important issue facing our environment, if this sounds like something you are interested in email Kathryn - kblau@email.unc.edu or Stefanie - semue@email.unc.edu. TRAILBUILDING 10/7-8 CESA and OUTING CLUB folks are heading out to Sparta to continue UNC-CH's section of the Mountain to Sea Trail. GLEANING!! Our new activity, this is where you go to the farms after they have collected the harvest with a machine and you pick up the multiple pounds of crop that is left to rot and you bring it to the local homeless shelter or food pantry because there are planty of people who need that food.....OUR FIRST GLEANING TRIP IS OCT. 29th with interest or questions either email Emily at rosowski@email.unc.edu or Liz at fieldste@email.unc.edu Have any ideas for projects ?     [ home ]
