darkroom

The CPA maintains a darkroom in the student union which is open for general student use whenever the union is open (Union Hours). The darkroom contains three small enlarging rooms as well as a larger room used for developing and print mounting and trimming.  CPA provides chemicals which are bought with money allotted to the group by student government.  Film and paper are not provided.

location

The CPA darkroom is located in Union 5112. This is the very back corner of the first floor of the student union: past the DTH headquarters, down the hall from the yearbook office, and across from the APPLES office.

DETAILED DIRECTIONS to the darkroom:
First, to get to the back of the student union, level ground floor, go
through the art gallery on the left side of the bigger student union which
is next to Great Hall... this leads you to the auditorium area where union
movies are shown/waited for.. go through this area to the swinging glass
doors people usually go through just to use the bathrooms which are on the
left...
Darkroom is behind the DTH area and directly across from the APPLES
office, which is next to the Yackety-Yack office and also next to some
clear doors which lead out onto brick stairs which lead down Raleigh St.
It's not around the hallway where the the bathrooms are but on the far
hallway on the other side. Look around a little- it's not hard to find.

office hours

CPA President hours are on Mondays at 7pm.
Office hours are located in the darkroom. See Location.
Come to office hours if you:
- have any questions,
- wish to have an orientation,
- wish to pay your semester dues of $3 or yearly dues of $5 plus receive a free roll of ilford b&w film either way,
- wish to buy any available film, paper, negative sleeves, or to place a bulk order.
