About the Dialectic and Philanthropic Societies

The Dialectic and Philanthropic Societies are a debate and literary society at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Established in 1795, we are UNC's oldest student organization. Please see above for Di-Phi's schedule (normally when classes are in session).

The Joint Senate meets every Monday at 7:30pm in the Di chamber on the third floor of New West for debate. All guests are welcome, business casual attire is recommended.
