The Dialectic and Philanthropic Societies are a debate and literary society at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Established in 1795, we are UNC's oldest student organization.

The Joint Senate meets every Monday at 7:30 p.m.
in the Di chamber on the third floor of New West for debate.

All guests are welcome, dressy casual attire is recommended.
 
Social activities on the weekends  meet in the Phi chamber on the fourth floor of
New East
  or in the New East lobby.
