Rachel Harper
Rachel Harper, from Cary, NC, is the President of UNC's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. A senior studying biology, Rachel has been involved in biomedical toxicology research at UNC's Lineberger Center for Cancer Research. She enjoys serving on the Student Life Board of North Carolina Hillel and is a Public Service Scholar. Rachel aims to continue serving the community by attending medical school to study obstetrics and gynecology. Her enthusiasm for scholarship and knowledge led Rachel to study renaissance art and literature in Rome and in the future she plans to pursue her interests in public health education by traveling as a volunteer health worker.
