Our Purpose
Virtuous Woman is a publication that focuses on inspiring and encouraging women of faith to grow and become all that God has called them to be. The magazine includes personal testimonies, poems, drawings, and words of wisdom from men and women who love the Lord. Our goal is not to condemn, but to share our experiences so that others may be blessed. The Virtuous Woman staff consists of an editor, content co-head, administrative co-head, treasurer, magazine editors, administration editors & staff, layout & marketing staff, photographers, artists and several writers who volunteer their works. Although the target audience is women of UNC's campus, both men and women are invited to contribute. The basis for the magazine's content comes from Christian principles in the Bible as well as personal experiences that have stemmed from a relationship with Christ. We currently publish 2,000 copies per issue, at a cost of approximately $4,000.
