The Yackety Yack has provided coverage of all aspects of student life, special events, Greeks and athletics at UNC-Chapel Hill for over 100 years. The Yack staff is eagerly making changes to ensure that the 2009 yearbook includes all officially recognized organizations, on campus.

Written requests for a reserved page in the 2009 Yack for your organization are due soon!

Getting your organization page in the Yack is FREE and easy. All groups can submit their own candid photographs, logos, stickers, etc. along with:

… A brief description of your group's activities or purpose
… List of member names and offices (in alphabetical order please!)
… Interesting facts about the organization (if applicable)
… Your name, organization, phone number and email address so that we may contact you.
… You can submit high quality color photographs of your organization or have your picture taken, free of charge, by our professional photographers in January. Call us or email our Organizations Editor Lawtnee Frazier at lmfrazie@email.unc.edu

GREEKS

The Yackety Yack is also trying to feature all Greek groups in a fully colored Greek section. In order to ensure your group's coverage in the Yack, please send in the following information as soon as possible!:

…The organization's group photo (hardcopies are preferred)
… List of member names and offices (in alphabetical order please!)
… A color print or hard copy of your Greek seal
… Your name, organization, phone number and email address so that we may contact you
