NOTE
Departments and schools are not required to use this template. The styles provided on this template are merely a suggestion for departments that wish to be consistent with the new homepage design.

BODY TEXT STYLE
This is sample body text. The font is Arial and the body size is -1. Body text should always be black for optimum readability and printing results. Please see/copy the source code. The text is inside a table (width is 515 pixels) to control line length for improved readability.

COLORS
This is the color to use for normal and active links. Please see/copy the source code.
This is the color to use for visited links. Please see/copy the source code.
The web-safe blue used in the banner above is 0066CC. RGB values: R=0, G=102, B=204.

IMAGES
The above banner may be used only on pages with a white (or almost white) background. If you plan to use a colored or tiled background, use the banner below. Both banners are imagemaps. Copy the sourcecode of this page in order to use the imagemap settings.

To download the graphics, place your cursor over the one you want and press down your mouse button. A window will pop up giving you the option to "save image as". Indicate where you want the graphic saved and click OK.

These and other low-resolution web graphics should never be used in printed materials.

Do not create likenesses of these images yourself or change the wording or typestyle. Use these graphics as is, or do not use them at all.

You may also use this image instead of the banners. This image should be left- or right-aligned (as in a sidebar) and never centered on a page.

LINK TO UNC
Do not use the old well icon that was used as the UNC-CH home page button in the previous design. Instead, you can use the following button placed at the bottom of each of your pages to return to UNC-CH Home. You also need to copy the following map code in order for this button to work properly.

<map name="home">
<area shape="rect" coords="0,0,91,17" href="http://www.unc.edu/">
</map>
