The Cellar Door is the undergraduate literary magazine of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Submissions for the Spring 2008 issue are now open.
The Fall 2007 issue (Volume XXXIII, Number I) was released on January 10th and can be found in the lobbies of Davis Library and the UL.
For this volume:
- New layout. The magazine is being redesigned for readability and visual appeal.
- Expanded art section. We are now accepting all forms of visual art, not just photography. In addition, it's now possible to submit color images, one of which will be featured on the cover of the magazine.
- Opportunities for staff. Staff will now have a greater chance to exercise a broad variety of talents with expanded programs in distribution, publicity, and management.
- Improved distribution. Pick up a copy of the magazine in the libraries or the Bull's Head, or at other locations on campus or Franklin Street.
- Prizes ride again. Prizes are back for outstanding contributions to the Cellar Door, and are now available for visual art as well as poetry and fiction.
** The Cellar Door wishes to thank the Creative Writing Program for its generous support. **
