General information

Publishing twice annually, the Cellar Door has served as the undergraduate literary magazine of the University of North Carolina for over three decades.

Our staff, writers, and artists are all undergraduate students at the University at the time of the magazine's publication. We are supported by student activities fees appropriated by Student Congress, as well as the generous contributions of the Creative Writing Program and individual donors.
