The
Alpha Sigma Chapter of Delta Delta Delta supports philanthropy
projects in our community. Our special focus is the UNC
Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Each year, we
organize a fundraiser for the center. On Saturday, April 7
we sponsored a Hole-in-One Golf Tournament at Finley Golf Course
in Chapel Hill. With the leadership of DeeDee Rouse as Hole
in One Chair, Tri Deltas organized the event, solicited parents
and friends of Tri Delta for support, contacted business sponsors
and publicized the event. We had over 100 contributors who
donated funds or came out to enjoy the gorgeous day.
Although no one made a hole in one this year, everyone at the
event enjoyed the golf and the opportunity to socialize, all for a
great cause. Thanks again to all our supporters who helped make
this event a terrific success. In the past two years, we
have raised over $17,000 for the Center. Check out some of the
