G'Day!
Welcome to the UNC Aussie Rules web page. We are part of a stepping stone for the growing population of Footy players in the United States and are looking for all interested Tarheels to come out and give their all for Carolina and one of the world's best and underrated sports. No experience or fitness level is necessary.
New players are always welcome, whether you're young, old, fit, fat, Australian, American or anything else. About the only requirement we have for our players and the Club is that your heart is still pumping blood to your brain then come to training and start playing the best game in the world. All UNC undergraduate, gradute, staff, and faculty are welcome!

Training Sessions:
Training sessions are held weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00PM to 8:30PM at the Hooker Intramural Fields
Directions to Hooker Intramural Fields:
From the North
Take Interstate 85 South to exit 175 in Durham, N.C. Take U.S. Highway 15-501 south to the first UNC-CH exit after the Franklin Street split. On South Road, go up the hill and through a traffic light, Hooker Field will be on your left next to Carmichael Gymnasium behind the stone wall.
From the South, West, and Northwest
Take Interstate 40 east to exit 266 and take N.C. Highway 86/M.L.K. Blvd. (Airport Rd.) south. After passing the Chapel Hill Police Station on the left, turn left at the light onto Hillsborough St. Stay straight until it dead ends at South Road and then turn left. Hooker Field will be to your right just past Carmichael Gymnasium behind the stone wall.
From the East
Take Interstate 40 west to exit 273-B onto N.C. Highway 54 west. Stay on the same road past the U.S. Highway 15-501 overpass (do not follow the signs for N.C. Highway 54). After going up the hill and through a traffic light, Hooker Field will be on your left next to Carmichael Gymnasium behind the stone wall.
