Announcements

Please note that national team tryouts are for both the men's and women's national teams. On Thursday October 30th, Co-ed physical testing will be from 4-7pm. The women's scrimmage will be from 7-8pm and the men's scrimmage will be from 8-9:30pm.

We will be hosting U.S.A National Team Tryouts in Fetzer Gym B. The tryout will have physical testing, team skills and ball-handling aspects as well as an opportunity to scrimmage with experienced handball players. However, no handball experience is necessary to tryout. That being said, all applicants should have a basic knowledge of the game. Athletes that try out will be considered for future USA National Teams (Mens, Womens, Youth Boys & Youth Girls). If your application is accepted, you will be asked to pay a $40 application fee. To apply for a spot, please visit the USA Team Handball Website.

Recent Tournaments

We recently took 3rd at the West Point Invitational. Everyone enjoyed themselves and improved a lot as the tournament progressed.

The Broad Strokes

In addition to practice every Wednesday and Thursday (6-8pm; Fetzer B), this year there will be Home
Tournament  (Nov 1-2), along with the men’s tournament on the same day, Sport Clubs events (which we'll talk about participating in; TBA), and *very importantly* lots of fundraising activities (multi-TBA).

Membership

We all know that we would love to have more people invested in team handball than we do right now. You are our best advertisement. Tell and bring along your friends. If you have any ideas on how to increase our numbers, please email and let us know.

Practice times

We are now practicing twice a week.
Wednesday 6 - 8 pm and Thursday 6 - 8 pm; both immediately after Men's Team's practice. No experience is needed to come out and practice with us. We are happy to teach. You don't even have to be a student!!
