ViDeNet Dialing Directions
Note: These default dialing instructions are available for all zones. ViDeNet anticipates that zone administrators will create their own more specific instructions after a zone has been established.
Prior to making calls, you will need to make sure that the software you use for video teleconferencing is properly configured. You will need to enter the following information into your endpoint's preferences or configuration file:

Gatekeeper Address: Enter the gatekeeper IP address.

H.323 ID Alias (name, etc.): Enter the 'H.323 ID Alias' information from the ViDeNet Dialing Directory.

H.323 Dialed Digits Alias (extension, phone number, etc.): Enter the 'H.323 Dialed Digits Alias' information from the ViDeNet Dialing Directory.
In most cases, you will need to stop and restart your h.323 application for these changes to be transmitted to the zone.
To call someone, look up her/his h.323 dialed digit alias in the ViDeNet Dialing Directory and enter that information into your h.323 endpoint's dialing applet.
