Megaconference V

  • The Megaconference V was held on December 10th. The event was a huge success. Approximately 180 sites from all around the planet participated. Video conferencing has matured to the degree that the focus was on applications for video conferencing, rather than the technology itself. Details and streams can be viewed at: http://www.megaconference.org . Gandalf (below) was sited joining the Megaconference from his endpoint in Middle Earth.

  • One of our ViaVideos gave up the ghost. Here is what is inside:

VCON vPoint and XP

  • Some of those using vPoint software may have experienced problems with the XP firewall. Typically, a computer running XP will indicate that the firewall is on, even when it is turned off. This problem can be alleviated by replacing the current 'VC_diag32.dll' file with the one which can be downloaded here.
