Carolina welcomes visitors to explore the beautiful campus and experience Tar Heel life.

The UNC Visitors' Center, located in the west end of the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, provides maps, guides, general tours and information about campus. The center features an interactive touchscreen that showcases some of the most popular campus attractions. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions, located in Jackson Hall, offers student-led tours and information sessions specifically for prospective students and their families.

High school students, transfer students and families should refer to the website for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions where they may easily schedule a campus visit.

General Visitors, Prospective Grad Students & Middle School Groups

We look forward to welcoming you to campus! Enthusiastic student-guides with a wealth of knowledge of UNC history provide a true Carolina Experience, sharing landmarks, legends, and student life on a walking tour. Tours are offered daily. Please call (919) 962-1630 to schedule one of these tours.
