Statistics of Student Use

The Writing Center has approximately 5,000 contact hours with students in one academic year. A contact hour could be a face-to-face appointment, an online interaction through the Online Tutor, a class workshop, a grammar hotline concern, or a tour of the Writing Center. On average, we see approximately 3,500 students in our face-to-face writing center and 600 through the Online Tutor each year.
