MISSION STATEMENT
Wordshed Productions, based in Chapel Hill,
NC and San Jose, CA,
was founded for the purpose of researching, developing, and presenting
live performance events. Wordshed believes that the intimacy and immediacy
of performance offers an ideal medium (for both audiences and creators)
for the artistic study and critical exploration of literature, personal
narrative,
and other cultural practices through narrative adaptation, integrated
live
and recorded performance, immersive theatrical installations,
and other cultural and critical performative practices.
