China on My Mind
China has been a focus for a number of World View programs in 2006. We produced a seminar on East Asia, took a group of 43 educators to China to study its education and culture, and hosted a China trip follow-up workshop. These have been enriching experiences, and we would like to share some of the resources we prepared for these programs.
Hsi-chu Bolick, East Asian Bibliographer, and Lisa Norberg, Coordinator of Instructional Services, both at the UNC University Library, put together a website with English-language resources on China.
We have reproduced this website in the main body of this issue. In the right column you will find selected resources and readings on China.
