www.rpcv.org/pages/groups.cfm for a list of local groups of returned volunteers.  Following each links will provide you with contact information for representatives of local groups of returned volunteers.  Currently in NC there are five organized groups including: the NC Peace Corps Association (Raleigh area), Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of UNC-Chapel Hill, the Charlotte Area Peace Corps Association, Coastal Carolina Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (Wilmington area), and Returned Volunteers of Western NC (Asheville area).
