Global Updates From World View

June 2002

The National Peace Corps Association Announces:

New Online Lesson to use with WorldView magazine

Global TeachNet has produced another lesson plan to accompany the latest edition of WorldView magazine (Spring 2002, Vol. 15 No. 2). Written by Dr. Angene Wilson, the lesson is entitled: "Living in Brazil, Fiji, Libya and South Africa at the Beginning of the Twenty-First Century." After reading this WorldView article students will be able to describe the lives of individuals in four different countries. This lesson could be inserted into a world geography or world history course as an introduction to how people live in other countries today.  The lesson can be found on the Global TeachNet website at: http://www.rpcv.org/pages/sitepage.cfm?id=559.
