Seminars: Past, Present and Future
|
|
World View seminars are focused and
substantive with the goal of helping educators learn more about particular
regions of the world and, in the case of the Latin America and North Carolina seminar (formerly Hispanics/Latinos in the Carolinas), about immigrant cultures and issues. We ask that, when possible, a team of at least four faculty
and administrators from one school, school district, or community college attend
a seminar together.
World View will send homework readings in advance of the seminar,
so that, on arrival, participants will already have a working knowledge of the issues and
topics to be explored more in depth at the seminar.
The seminars take place at the UNC-Chapel Hill Friday Center for Continuing Education. To learn more
