Helping Paws

extending social justice and compassion to animals

Who we are

Helping Paws is the committee of the Campus Y dedicated to extending social justice and compassion to all animals.

Student members serve in a variety of ways, including volunteering at the local animal shelter (see carpool calendar to the right); building fences for chained dogs; educating the public on animal-related social justice; lobbying; and becoming aware of animal-related consumerism issues.

Our Mission

The mission of Helping Paws is to promote social justice for animals by encouraging awareness, volunteerism, compassion, and activism among students.
