I'm sure my trip would have been better if we hadn't have followed the cab driver's advice. As we chatted with him from the airport to our hostel in Cusco, he thought we were both Chilean. (Hello? I'm super white! And I have a very noticeable Anglophone accent!) He sent us to a restaurant that had outstanding food and was far off the tourist path. Unfortunately, it was also far outside the realm of what our stomachs could take. I probably would have enjoyed MP more had I not been so painfully sick, but it's part and parcel with traveling. Anyway, here are the tangible products of our trip ...
A train ride up, a train ride down, and some amazing scenes and hot springs in the middle ...
