Here a tiny plaque commemorates the landing of the Spanish. I took a bus to Spanish Rock, hiked up with my suitcases, begged a family to take my photo in the middle of their picnic, and then hiked down just in time to catch the bus to the airport. Thanks to Marion Rust for the photo.
