to download the SlackBuild with its associated files, download the
tarball from <http://www.unc.edu/~adamsonj/files/emacs-cvs.tar.gz>,
and untar it using

# tar zxvf emacs-cvs.tar.gz

Then cd into the directory created, make the SlackBuild executable with

# chmod +x emasc-cvs.SlackBuild

Then run it using

# ./emacs-cvs.SlackBuild

You must have super-user access to build the package.  Install the
package with installpkg(8) or upgrade with upgradepkg(8)
