Since August 2002, I have been involved with "Carolina Week", UNC's Student-run newscast. After rising from the volunteer ranks, I am now the Sports Producer for our bi-weekly shows. Along with assigning stories to reporters and organizing the sports show, I also report. Here are some examples of my work..

Victory Bell

The story of the "Victory Bell" has been a part of the UNC-DUKE rivalry since 1948. For the past 13 years, the bell has been sitting in the Carolina locker room.

Find out how important the bell has become to the UNC football players in my package that aired 11.19.03 on "Carolina Week."

WUSA Folds
The Lady Tar Heels have dominated the soccer field even beyond graduation. Former UNC players, like Mia Hamm, were the founding members of America's first female professional soccer league-- the WUSA.

See what role Carolina has played in the WUSA and what the demise of the league means for UNC soccer in
my package that aired the day after the formal announcement 9.17.03 on "Carolina Week."

UNC Volleyball
On "Carolina Week," the sports reporters learn to cover all types of UNC sports from wrestling to basketball. This is my story about the Glaxo Smith Kline UNC Volleyball Classic.

UNC Football
Even when we can't travel to away games, Carolina Week Sports still reports the stories for our audience. Here is
my report
on the UNC at Georgia Tech football game.
