Graduation Countdown since last update: 25 days

What's with all this rain? I think it's making people frown. It was supposed to be sunny too. Of course, mother nature decides what it's supposed to be. It's cold too. There's only one month keeping us from June and I still think about turning on the heater.
Here's a tip. Be aware that there are several things you need to do in order to officially graduate other than passing your classes. You even have to fill out an application for crying out loud. At UNC, hopefully you've already passed the swim test so you aren't panicking at the last minute, but that requirement may disappear in the future. Let's see, I had to apply for graduation at the journalism school, I'm still filling out more applications for this and that, filling out school surveys, sending your resume to the University of Career Services so they still have a piece of your existence when you're gone. None of this is complaining by the way, but I also have to get rainy day tickets for graduation by Friday and I didn't even know that until yesterday. I also filled out an application to stay in the dorms until graduation so I won't be kicked out with all the others a week or so early. That's another thing I didn't know until yesterday and the application is due Friday. Just when you think you've done everything, you still have to stay on your toes. Your parents and relatives will ask you about what to do on campus, when and where and how. It's almost like being stressed at a wedding and you're the one getting married.
I was hoping to see Alice Walker tonight, but I need to go to a class help session. I think Walker would recommend the same. I hope I get to see her in the future.
