Graduation Countdown since last update: 38 days
April 1, 2004
It is April, and there is no April Fooling about that. I told a woman I sit beside in political science the other day that there were 20 something days left until the last day of school and she started doing this fake puppy weeping in the front row. She is funny.
Ohhhhh I'm listening to Old School music in my headset. You know what that means? You have to sing. Oh wait, I'm in the library. Sing in head: You're allllllllll I neeeeeeed to get byyyyyyyyy. Now that's some good music, and I wasn't even around back then.
Censorship is a funny thing isn't it? Have you noticed that yes, radio censors the songs, so the original CD lyrics are different. Fine, okay, but did you notice however that the censorship changes AGAIN depending on the radio station? I hear the same Missy Elliot song (she's a rapper for those who don't know) on different channel but with all these different lyrics depending on the station. It's almost funny. Yet, Chingy (he's a rapper) can say "...I can treat you like a ho" uncensored. Then, for those of you who listen to words, go to a soft rock type station and hear a song about certain areas that fingers can go...uncensored. That's interesting Michael Powell...I know you like Janet.
Well as I ponder this I will listen to 80s Madonna (the censored Queen): "Get into the groove boy you got to prove your love to meeeeee yeah."
I have to leave the library I'm making myself laugh. I think someone burned popcorn in the journalism school. Who knew? The smell is all over the second floor, and this is a huge building.
