Amy Nicole Guffey

 

 

Biography

I am currently a student at UNC-Chapel Hill majoring in Advertising with a minor in intrapersonal communications. My career goals are to find future employment with an innovative company that is motivated, cultured, open-minded and goal oriented. Coming from a multicultural family, I have very strong convictions on the topics of intolerance and inequality. Raised with four sisters and one brother, I have learned the meaning of patience and generosity. My mother and father have been the best parents I could have ever asked for. They have instilled a sense of balance and determination in me that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina but spent the majority of my childhood in Charlotte, North Carolina and my teenage years in Los Angeles, California. I am twenty-three years old and I enjoy painting, welding, creating installations as well as electronic music. Over the years I have established a foundation of friends that are extremly talented as well as supportive. They continue to amaze me everyday as I think about how they have evolved and how we have all grown from each other. Below you will find several pictures of friends, family as well as the many animals I have accumulated over they years.

This is my dad and I at the Metrolina Expo. My father recently started his own business, Spice Road Antiques and Interiors, a company that specializes in importing antique furniture from China.

Two of my best friends...Jen and Shawn. They have been engaged for almost a year now and they will be married very soon. I am so happy for them!
