Scope and Purpose

This website was designed to be a collection of all the knitting-related resources that I have found to be most helpful. It is in no way comprehensive, but I hope that you will find what you need. The links on the right will provide you with general information and link to more in-depth resources.

Have a look around and if you have any suggestions, please email me at alisa.hutchison(at)gmail(dot)com.

Important Things For Every Knitter to Remember

  1. If you don't like the yarn, you won't like the finished product
  2. You can accomplish a lot with just a few techniques
  3. Check your gauge BEFORE you start the project
  4. Keep track of your pattern
  5. If you make a mistake, chances are someone else has made the same mistake before and there is probably a solution
  6. Even the most advanced knitters don't know it all and can benefit from reviewing the basics
  7. There is always something new to learn
  8. You can do it and it IS possible
  9. Sometimes you just have to rip it
