Ode to Aina

"Between Spotted Dog and Gran Cafe
I've always noticed your certain ways:
Extra dill mayo or a slice of Swiss cheese
You've never forgotten to add the ever-courteous "please."

We go to the mall for clothes, shoes, and more
We might as well have bought out these stores
When H&M opens we'll have no more money
-- you think I'm kidding, but I'm not trying to be funny

Vennens always succeed in making our day
But oh how we wish they would just go away
Reading their profiles are our favorite pasttime
Ohh I really need a line that rhymes

So finally I got to visit to Norway
Kroners confused me so much -- how much did I just pay??
The country is so pretty and serene
Anyone would be better off there than in the marines

Learning snippets of Norwegian or appreciating the gjetost
You know that goat cheese and bread is what I like the most.
Or wait -- was it the russ? Red blue, or black vans?
All of them, of course, just watch for flying beer cans

All in all, Aina's simply the best,
Even while studying for the horrid spelling and grammar test.
I'm so glad I got to know her at UNC
And because of her, Chapel Hill's the place to be."
