This is my best North Carolina pal, Erin. We met through a 'Teen magazine astrolgical pen pal match in eighth grade. (We're both Leos.)At that time, I lived in Indiana. We used to only see each other once or twice a year, but I when I moved to NC, of course that all changed. Now we're roomies!

Erin introduced me to her best guy friend, Ken, on our annual summer visit in 1999. Now, he's my fiance!

Therefore, I always tell people that 'Teen magazine changed my life. Pathetic huh? But, it's true! If it weren't for 'Teen, I wouldn't have met Erin or Ken. And if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be doing this lovely web site for a class at UNC!

This is my other best friend, Jamie (left), me, and Erin. Jamie is a also from Indiana. I met her when we were in 4th grade and we have pretty much been sisters at heart ever since. At left was when she came to visit me in March.

I met Cameran last summer at my Courier & Press internship. We hit it off so well, that by mid-summer, our boss Shawn was calling us sisters. She just graduated from Ball State University with a journalism concentration in magazine-writing. I haven't seen her since last August : (

These are the two greatest parents in the world, Bob and Debbie. Dad works at Bristol Myers Squibb in purchasing and mom works at Ivy Tech State College. She's a career placement advisor. Here they are in front of a waterfall in Maui. Hmmm....sounds nice!

This is Kerby. He's the cutest dog I know. However, he's not always the brightest. He loves to eat rocks and often chokes on his food because he swallows it whole. I still adore him though!

This is me, my sister, Felicia, and my niece, Madison. Felicia lives in Fredericksburg, Virgina with her family. She met her husband, Matt, on the Internet in 1996. In mid-June she is due to have another little girl!

This is my other sister, Stephanie, and my nephew, Clayton, and of course, Santa Claus. Steph and I used to have pickle-tickle parties when we were little. Don't ask: )

This is Ken and me again, Christmas 1999. Yeah, yeah, aren't we cute? Not to mention, aren't I pale? Yikes!

I didn't want my IU friends to think I left them out! This is Lori, Kristen, Katie, Amy, Jessica, me, and Melissa at our 90210 wrap-up/good-bye Mandy party last year. It wasn't easy leaving all of my friends at Indiana.
