-I really liked researching and writing this article. I was only 8 years old when my father had to go to the Gulf War. This article made me question how I reacted when he was deployed. Did my schools enact any programs to help children like my brother and I?

- This article was a challenge to research and write. I enjoy writing about women's issues, but finding sources can be difficult. Writing a well-balanced story with this kind of topic is also tricky.
Title IX Changes Might Not Be Felt at UNC
-I learned a great deal more about Title IX in researching this story. It was really interesting to get coaches perspectives on the effects of Title IX on higher education.
Md. System Students Sue Over Midyear Tuition Increase
-This was a great article, because it hit close to home. UNC also raised tuition mid-year and the article really raised the possibility of students suing the University.
