Me at age 5

"I'm a tarheel born, I'm a tarheel bread and when I die I'll be a tarheel dead..."

My name is Amanda Evans and I hail from the golf capital of the world, Pinehurst, North Carolina. I am a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and I am majoring in journalism and mass communication with a concentration in public relations. I have three brothers, two that are older and one that is my twin. (and NO we are not identical!) I have been a tarheel fan since the day I was born. I was probably one of the few freshmen on campus that could tell you the names of many of the buildings (at least the ones my dad took classes in). I have always loved sports, both participating and watching. I played volleyball, basketball and softball in high school and spent a great deal of my childhood on the local swim team back home. When I graduate I would like to find a job that allows me to travel a bit. I have always wanted to go to Europe, especially Italy. But I'm sure I'm not the only one. I love music and enjoy going to concerts, when I have money that is. My sign is sagitarius which I feel sums me up pretty well, so instead of me trying to make myself sound interesting, I'll let my sign do the talking...

sagitariusALL ABOUT ME: Sagittarius is the Philosopher of the Zodiac. Their characteristic fiery natures are softened by the Mutable Quality that influences Sagittarians to be flexible and amenable to change. In fact, a true Sagittarius thrives on change: In scenery or location or lovers, the Sign of the Archer loves anything (or anyone) new. If you're a Sagittarius you most likely love to travel, as it involves constant change and exposure to new foods, people, landscapes and things to do. If things start to stagnate in your life you can become intensely bored and unhappy. You may have trouble settling down, whether that means in a city, with a lover, whatever. You're always up for learning something new, however. You are a truth-seeker, and will go to the ends of the earth to find answers to your questions about religion, philosophy and the meaning of life.
