Welcome to my homepage. I'm a senior, yes a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH)! Go Heels! My majors are Spanish and Journalism. Within the journalism school, I have chosen the advertising sequence. This page was created for Journalism 50, a class at UNC-CH about electronic sources information.

I love leading an active lifestyle, and people often describe me as being super energetic (hence my Halloween costume last year- the energizer bunny). At the Student Recreation Center, I teach three classes per week: funk aerobics (a dance class), precision cycling and an abdominal class. I'm also a co-chair for the YES Committee, a group dedicated to improving the lives of the elderly through volunteerism.

I love sports, always have. I'd choose to participate in a sport any day over watching one. My sophomore year, I became involved in Carolina's triathlon team. This sport consists of swimming, biking and running. I love training and competing in triathlons because they are fun and challenging. I'm currently the vice president of the triathlon team.

I was born and bred a small-town girl in Belmont, population 10,000. My parents and my singing dog, Daisy, reside in Belmont. If you check out the 2002 version of the Week-by-Week, you'll find a picture of my dog in the week of November 4-10.

I have met some great friends in college, friends that will last a lifetime. I've also had some crazy, fun experiences both in Chapel Hill and in Spain, where I studied abroad during the spring semester, 2002.
