Research on Monet
|
|
I love art and have always had an affinity for the Impressionist
era. One artist in particular has captured my awe and has lead
me to research his life, his works of art, his history and the
time period as a whole. For the first part of the treasure hunt,
a research assignment for J-50, I chose to learn more about Claude
Monet. Monet was not only
the premiere artist of the Impressionism, but one of his pieces,"
Impression at Sunrise" (1872), gave title to the movement.

I used the UNC library online system and found the best
print, non-print and database resources. Furthermore,
I surfed the net and found many online
resources. |

| In addition to our research project,
J-50 students had to write a mini essay on an Internet controversy.
I chose to write about Jeffrey
Bezos and his dealings with Amazon. Additionally, we
were told to find three
information sources on the web. |
