Hi!! Welcome to my web page!! My name is Amanda Proffitt and I am a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! I am majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in public relations, and am minoring in English.

I am from Wilson, NC, a small town about 45 minutes east of Raleigh. I have two wonderful parents, Gary and Martha, and an older sister, Alison. Also, in about a year, another person will become part of my family! I am getting married on June 14, 2003! My fiance, Jared, and I are very excited and ready to begin our new lives together!

Here at Carolina, outside of class and homework, I am very involved with an organization called Campus Crusade for Christ. I lead a girls bible study in Morrison (Mo-town!) and also help emcee the weekly meetings! I became a Christian when I was in high school, and God continues to change my life and amaze me!
